LIFE HAS JUST BEGUN Wishing you a time, life is more fair, Where you can breathe, pain you can bear Wish you happy moments, where you cant help but smile inside Strength to believe you know yourself, Better than they said they always did Don’t matter what they say, more than anything believe that I wish you freedom from those that invade your space Doors to light the way, walls to keep you safe, to take up space Show them the door, take back your life, show them the door, Cos life has just begun Wish I had the words, take away your pain, Wish I had the answer, if only for today Wish you could remember, the places you have been Then you might experience, the moment you are in I wish you happiness a reason to live this life To breathe without pain, to take up space, to take up space Show them the door, take back your life, show them the door, Cos life has just begun Wish I had the words take away your pain Wish I the answer, i wish i had the answer Yeah i wish i had the answer, if only for today (c) Sam RB 2010

No Big Deal 03:20
6. NO BIG DEAL My face looks calm but inside, throwing punches You know why, maybe it’s just a game to you Words hurt more than stones ever do Today is enough to think about So keep the pressure to yourself It’s just a thought, no big deal The calmness is a mask I have To protect what is left To hold it all together yeah To practice what it is i learnt Before you advise me of my next step Take a look at footprints I have left It’s just a thought, no big deal Just something you could, Maybe take some time to think about Just something you could, Maybe find a way to think about It’s just a thought, no big deal (c) Sam RB 2010
7.
7. HALF FILLED EMPTY Over and over, time and time again Words and thoughts bombard, like a highway in my head Heavy mask, built for everybody else, Days repeat themselves moving slow I’m so small I fall between the cracks in the footpath You’re standing on me, cos im so small I can’t hear you listening, I can only hear the thoughts Racing through your head, like you’d rather be somewhere else I don’t know what you see, cos the image its not me I don’t know what you need, It’s not what I choose to be I’m so small I fall between the cracks in the footpath You’re standing on me, cos im so small My feelings are valid, my opinions just as important as yours I don’t need to be told how to think, I have a mind of my own (c) Sam RB 2010

8. SEEMS I MIGHT BE HUMAN How I wish I could find a way Without the pain, yeah But between you and me Between you and I It’s looking a little bit less than likely But here’s the good news Are you ready? Here’s the good news, ready or not Seems I might be human Might be human Might be human, human after all What a journey what a trip What a shame I couldn’t avoid it So now that I am here, what to do with it But here’s the good news Are you ready? Here’s the good news, ready or not Seems I might be human Might be human Might be human, human after all The hardest part is sitting with the fear Not able to leave, not able to disappear The hardest part is sitting with the fear (c) Sam RB 2010

9. TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN You think I just want sympathy, but this is no fun for me Why would I choose to be this way, clearly its not a choice id make From where im sitting your perspective Aint changing any time soon, so come a little closer Would you mind reaching down, closing the lid Cant reach it from where i am, the box you just put me in Would you mind reaching down, closing the lid Don’t wanna hear you inside, the box you went and designed You think that im just playing games, like it’s a choice that i can make But it don’t feel that way to me, why cant you just let me be I get the feeling ‘walking the talk’, means something else to you Or maybe, maybe, maybe you got nothing there to say, So before you walk away Would you mind reaching down, closing the lid Cant reach it from where i am, the box you just put me in Would you mind reaching down, closing the lid Don’t wanna hear you inside, the box you went and designed (c) Sam RB 2010

One Day 03:41
10. ONE DAY One day I will cry a cup of tears, i’ll find their hiding place And set them free One day I’ll feel without wondering, If what I feel, is gonna kill me One day I’ll believe you when you say, I love you One day even just for a moment, It’ll be ok, just for one day One day I’ll stand on a mountain-top, with arms stretched out Like a bird that once could fly One day I will be whole again, a whole lot of broken pieces, Mended for more than One day I’ll believe you when you say, Be ok, Just for one day, just for one day One day the many will be one, and I will know, It’ll be ok, itll be ok Just for one day, just for one day, just for one day, just for one day (c) Sam RB 2010

11. MEDICATE ME INTO MADNESS Medicate me into madness, you won’t need to know my name You could probably walk right by me,
and feel nothing in your veins Had you walked in my shoes for the time that I have You might find yourself silenced in my seat, asking the questions that I am not Please don’t flatter yourself, by assuming you’re better than us Yeah we’re all different that’s true,
but we are much the same x3 too Medicate me into madness, shut me up and throw away the key Had you lived my life it may well be you, Invisible for all the world to see Had you walked in my shoes for the time that I have You might find yourself silenced in my seat, asking the questions that I am not Please don’t flatter yourself, by assuming you’re better than us Yeah we’re all different that’s true,
but we are much the same too (c) Sam RB 2010

12. OUTSIDE DREAMS The night is still and I remember Too many things, keeps me from sleeping And so I find something to treasure A gem of sorts, a moment of pleasure Hold on tight and watch it linger, try not to fight to keep it closer You wont bring me down, I wont give you space I wont look at you when I see your face So you may as well, go take a seat in the corner, outside my dreams I can’t make you leave, your imprints on my mind So you can stay there, as long as you like I just wont hold you centre stage no You’ll get no light no warmth, If you choose to stay You wont bring me down, I wont give you space I wont look at you when I see your face So you may as well, go take a seat in the corner, outside my dreams Leave all those rules there in the corner Where they’ll remain a little longer (c) Sam RB 2010

Book Covers 03:15
13. BOOK COVERS Welcome to my world, hope you enjoy your stay Take you on a journey, keep it subtle, Don’t wanna scare you away Wonder what your worlds like, Won’t assume that it’s all good Cos you cant judge a book by its cover And we’re so good at looking how we are not On this journey you may find it helpful, to be prepared The feelings they’ll overwhelm you, You’ll see nothing for the fear The voices you don’t recognise, Things that only you can see Blackness, judgement surround, no escaping near I’m not saying your world is easy I’m just saying mine is not I’m not the cover on this book The cover on this book I am not Love to wake up one morning Jump outta bed looking forward to the day Without the fear that can keep me with the doors locked hiding away Love to run like I used to over grass, roads & paths But the worlds a scary place now My minds is waiting to be able to do that I’m not saying your world is easy I’m just saying mine is not I’m not the cover on this book The cover on this book I am not The journey will soon be over, to your world you can return I’ll remain here wondering, what I might do next The past haunts us all, one way or another Maybe it would help, if we didn’t judge one another (c) Sam RB 2010

Good Enough 01:57
14. GOOD ENOUGH Feels like the words I go to say, split my mind in two Straight down the middle There’s so much that should be said, the learning that we get When we are children Taking it slowly, taking my time, The day before tomorrow, all I have got I’ve gotta find a way, to make it just good enough Feels like the people that I know are gonna suddenly work out I don’t know much at all, It’s so very tiring What I feel and what I think, trying to be oh so perfect, so I’m (c) Sam RB 2010
